Driver Backrest Empty Driver Backrest

Just put on new driver backrest on v star 1300. I would try to balance on my Goodyear tt 205/60/16 at red lights,I could manage 4 seconds till I had to put a foot down, before the backrest. Didn't realize how much I move around till I put it on.So the first smooth road red light,I tried it again and sat there for a full 10 seconds,I must have twitched thinking I'd sit there till the light changed and had to put my foot down.Just a fun game i play on the dark side.
PS:6000 miles,no visible were on the Goodyear tt
