The closest you will find will be a 195/60/16, and your choices will be very limited. I ended up running a 195/55/16. Works great but speedo will be slightly off.

Have you looked at any 175/75-16 tires? They are about 0.4" taller than a 195/65-16 tire so if your tight on space they might rub the top of the fender.

Why would the speedo be off? The engine may run faster at a given speed, but unless it's different then what I've seen, the speedo is run off the front wheel. That's not gonna change.

Haven't tried it yet but planning on it when this tire is gone. I drag a trailer a lot and figure it should work better then a bike tire. Here are your options...
195/65-16 HERCULES POWER CV 104/102R
195/65-16 VREDESTEIN Comtrac 104R
195/65-16C VREDESTEIN Comtrac All season 104R

Not having much luck with the 195 65 16 so I will just replace my 195 60 16 Kumho with another one. This one has 20k on it and I will replace it this winter. on my 2013 flhtc. Lot of tread left but the little cost of those tires I will keep fresh ones on it.

Would like to had a 65 to bring my speedo error to zero. Strange thing that, According to my rider TomTom it is dead on at 40 but 4mph fast at 70 Shrug ?

Had same thing on my 2011 RK and it had 15k on it when traded. good tire.

This Comtrac will get you 30k miles or more, its one tough tire. Its not a passenger car tire, its a LT(light truck) tire. I run one on my Honda 1100(740 lbs) and it is the best tire I've had on my 1100. I have a little over 100k miles on my bike so I've gone through a lot of bike tires and three car tires. My Comtrac LT tire has been the best, I like it so much I won't even look for a different c/t for my bike. Its been that good. If it will fit, buy it.

How does it ride being a truck tire? I would think it would be a harsh ride.
The 195 60 I am running now is real smooth at 32 lbs.
I am willing to try the 65 if the ride is not to harsh. Cool

Well if you run 45 psi it will be a harsh ride, but you won't run 45 psi. I run 36 psi two up with full gear and around 34 one up(my tire is a 175/75-16 Comtrac). The 195/65-16 has a 104 load rating(1984 LBS) so you can run less air in it and still not get the tire hot(heat kills tires-ANY TIRE). If it fits I would run the Comtrac tire. On a side note my tire did not take much weight to balance the wheel out.

One more thing, if you want to lower the rpm's a little try a taller tire(if it will fit).
I did this on my Honda and it makes the bike so much better going down the road.
If a 195/65-16 will fit your bike then see if this one does 185/75-16
http://www.onlinetires.com/products/vehicle/tires/vredestein/185%252F75-16+vredestein+comtrac+104r.html
Its one inch taller than the 185/65-16 tire so it will raise the rear of the bike 1/2"
