RE CAR TIRE
I am running 205-60-16 goodyear tripple tread on my 05 nomad and have been for three years it has credit card clearance on shaft tube but never rubs, excellent handling at 32/34 psi.I am useing dynabeads (3 oz.) to balance.Excellent traction wet or dry.Just bought mine at local tire shop

re tire
The 195 is actually the closest to origional size but I couldn't find one that had a treadpattern I liked. When you install the wheel you will have to let the air back out of it and push it by the rear drive (not real hard but it is a tight fit) I am glad I chose the 205 as it really improved traction and braking.I am old school and only use rear brake 99% of the time. Also the tire beaded at under 50 psi. Good luck.

Re: Car tires for motorcycles
So A 205 would fit in a 2013 Electraglide? That is the question!! I have been looking for a larger diameter tire and no one seems to know about the fit. Hate to buy a tire and eat it.
I want to fix speedo error. How about the 205 being that wide, would it be different to handle than a 195?

Re: Car tires for motorcycles
A.) that was the wrong link; it just led to their front page
B.) why-in-hell do so many want the widest tire they can get in there? Obviously, only for show.
Me, I'll stay with the narrow CT's and keep doing what i do: pass bikes in the curves, ride with confidence on the edge.
My regular point is; even a narrow CT is fat looking; why sacrifice to more crossover effect, more groove wallow, just to look
like a drag bike? I make some enemies, but I'll still say this: I'm betting most who ride on beach balls can't ride worth a flip.
If you could, you'd be looking at performance over looks. Not the first time my opinions got me in odds, but hey; Show me
whatcha workin' with. The last few didn't have squat.
Well, except that dude on the GW running Darkside. He could freekin' HAUL!!! Another day then. I made improvements! -g
EDIT! Forgot to mention that I'm now running the Dunny 175/16 CT...but have I mentioned that I HATE Dunnie MT's? Got
tired of sliding around.
