It's been a while since I posted. Back then I was on a 2003 VTX1300 and ran a Michelin Hydroedge 205/70R15.... Was wondering if the 205/70R16 would fit the Valk without any modifications...

I think most are using a 205/60/16 on a Valk IS.

Thanks!!... I am definitely going Darkside on my Valk.... Just mulling over whether to go 205/60 or 205/65...

The difference between a 60 and 65 on paper is minimal. So, if you have long legs, go with the 65. If you can't reach the ground as it is, go with the 60.

That said, go to the store and check out the tires side by side. On paper the diff might be minimal. But actually, there might be a significant difference. remeber that if the tire is 1" taller, it's only 1/2" to the rider. Tire size affects speedo on some bikes, so keep that in mind.
