205's on a Neo
Ok, you guys/gals running N's out there with 205's, have you had any problems with rubbing? I am thinking about going with a 205/60/16 Yoko Avid Envigor to get my speedo closer and to also have a little higher profile closer to what it should be. Now, I have been on the Darkside since 2008 and this is my 2nd VTX with a c/t, and I know about trimming the inside fender rails and all that, but I want to know has anyone with an N put a 205 on without doing any kind of mods and rides 2up alot had any problems with rubbing. When I feel up under fender with this 195, I think I will have the room, because the 205 should only be about 1/4" or so wider... but just looking for some input from others already running 205's on the N. Thanks!

We put a 205 Michelin H E on my friend's N. No mods, doesn't rub anywhere, but close to shaft. BUT...she rides alone and don't weigh much...(NOT guessin on that)

205/65-15 on my 1800 S. No problems never a rub about 15,000 on it now. Love it as much as ever. I did turn the exhaust bolts around as I had read others did that but not sure it was necessary.

205-55-16 MHE on my 06 Neo with no mods at all. Additionally I took speedo needle off and repositioned it for a relatively close speedo correction
MHE rocks on this bike by the way. 40 psi and 3oz Dynabeads works well for me.

Re: 205's on a Neo
Just mounted a Mich. Defender 205/55/16 last week with no mod's, have ridden 100 miles with 190 lb. son with no rubbing. Needed to deflate tire down from the 30 that was in it to squeeze in there. The extras width makes it a little tougher, but
I do like the look and the ride.
Good luck.

By the way this was on a 04 Neo

Shouldn't be an issue since 215's fit.
