The Mighty Shinko 777 Empty The Mighty Shinko 777

I wonder if anyone else has run this tire up front?
I got one last year (9k ago) due to the great reviews on the Motorcycle Superstore and the cheap price. DOODS! This has been the STICKIEST tire I've ever run up front, and it doesn't even SEE tar snakes. Y'all know I like to corner her on the boards, have cams, and I do get real stoopid in the twisties - and it's finally getting smoothed on the left side; no chicken strips have ever existed on this thing, and wet traction has been, well, as much as I dare to push it, even scraping a time or two, with no looseness at all that I could feel.
Best $85 I ever spent, and I'm getting ready to drop that again. I'll take less miles for keeping me on top of the canyons. Even Avon can't match this.

The Mighty Shinko 777 Empty No Shinko

I saw in an earlier post that you put on the Shinko. I looked at it but bought a Pirelli MT66 instead. I'm sealing the rims right now so I can go tubeless. I'm using 3M 5200. It's still tacky after 60 hours.
I had over 38,000 miles on my OEM Dunlops!!
Because of the extra snow we have here I wasn't able to head south in March as I had hoped to. I now plan to leave Wis on May 4, spend some time in Tennessee, then pass thru Ackworth on my way to Atlanta, then head to Apalachicola, Florida. If everything goes according to schedule, I'll be in Ackworth on May 9.

YAY!!! We gotta meet up bro. Suggestion: don't air up the wheel until the full 7 days setup is done. I used that and had a run coming up after 2 days, and I leaked. It
really does take time to set up, but it's almost like TIRE RUBBER when done.
After the Pirelli Night Dragon getting half worn out on the back in just 3k, I decided to shy away from them, but I do see a lotta folks running that 66. Just rode home
from church and it started raining...even balding, the Shinko was sticky enuff to lay the bike close to the boards around the 'hood. Won't try it at speed tho; rain just
scares me. Lemme send you a PM and my phone number.
