any tried the run flat and if so what brand. I know they have stiffer side walls so do they present a mounting problem? I am going dark with this tire change so any info would be of help.

Don't remember anyone trying a runflat on a VTX. Then again my memory isnt what it used to be. If anyone did I hope they check in for you. Personally I would not use one without a monitoring system but that is just me.

My friend has a RF on his 1800 GW and I have one on my UltraClassic. They are a bit of a hassle mounting, we did find that spraying some silicone lubricant on the bead helped a lot and it dont interfere with the dynabeads. As for handling they are great. He has a bridgestone and I have a michelin primacy alpin
