while I don't avoid twisites with my CT, if my primary use of the bike was sport riding, I'd have a MC tire on back

As someone else wrote here before; I paraphrase, SHUT UP!

Let us all keep our heads down and our mouths and keys quite, before someone stinks up the deal we have and using
a C/T on a cycle becomes against some federal law. (FMVSS)

We have a good deal here we know works, trying to show any data or evidence to any other dope who is too narrow minded
to let us ride as we choose, will only bring trouble!

Thanks

My fiance and I have identical bikes. Yamaha Stratoliner. I have a wide CT on mine. She has stock tires. If I switch from bike to bike, I notice a difference in the ride. Her's leans over easier. Goes from side to side easier. It does not mean that I won't take my bike in the twisties. It only means that if that's what I lived for, I'd probably stick with a MT.

You get used to whatever tire is on the back. CT's do well in the twisties. No problems. But if I lived in Arkansas and just rode 2k miles a year for pleasure, I'd be on a MT. But I ride all the time, so a CT makes sense for me.

I toss my bike from side to side, I guess it comes from racing, and can get the bike to respond pretty well in Michigan twisties which
'probably is nothing like mountain area twisties
