vtx 1800t 2007 tire and size

Post  maurice on Thu Sep 20, 2012 4:20 pm

I just picked up a new to me bike, and wonder what is the popular brand, size for my bike. I would like it as tall as it will fit, and a 205 width sounds good if it fits without mods. Don't see any "t" models and don't know if they are the same fit wise as other models. Also, a comment on the feel on curves vs mt tire. It has been awhile since I had one and am thinking there is a bit more counter steering with the ct? Thanks.

Your T is essentially the same as an R except for bags and windshield which doesn't matter with regards to the tire. 205/60 or 65/16 will fit.
I guess the other part of your question depends on your definition of "a bit"...
Some people say it is noticeable, some say they hardly notice any difference at all.
My personal opinion is after riding a short time I don't notice any difference. thumbup
