I've got a 2008 Triumph Rocket III Touring and made the swap.

Originally:
Metzeler ME880 Marathon
180/70/R16 77H TL

My choice:
Goodyear - Eagle F1 GS-D3
Size: 225/50ZR16/SL

I had trouble finding someone in South Florida who was willing to mount the tire but I found a small shop off of US 441. He said the job was a real bitch so for those of you who are do-it-yourself -ers, proceed with caution. It was worth 90 bucks in my opinion. I spoke to this guy about two weeks ago and he was leery about doing it. He cautioned me about making turns that because the shape of the tire, it would force me down. When I picked up the bike, I noticed that it had been written so I asked him how it handled. He said that it was actually not bad and the cornering handled pretty well. So far, I am happy! Ride safe. thumbup
