I am wanting to put a 160/60/18 R-4.25 on my front wheel. This only comes in the rear wheel version. Now I've got the 1800 Retro. I would say that you could fit a 160 up under the front fender after shaving down some supports. Anyone done this?
Along with this, I'm putting a 250 on the rear, stretching the neck forward 4" and raking the front end out 46 degrees. I want to go wide up front as well. With my calculations I will have a trail of 3.73. If I go with a 160/70/18 up front my trail will be 4.23.

Aren't you concerned about the extra weight up there with that rake? I'd expect it to transition poorly. I've forgotten more than I
know about rake and trail from my chopper days, but most of them weren't worth squat in the curves.

I've already got a 150 up there on my Retro. Not a lot of difference in weight between the 150 andd 160. I'm also not a racer. I like to cruize around and enjoy what's around me and not blow through it like a bat outa hell. In 2005 I put a 6 degree triple tree on and kept everything else stock. Yes, driving it was a little squirlly at first. However, I just learned to adjust and have not had any problems driving it. Now with this in mind, . . . doing this modification will actually improve my trail numbers from where they are now.
