Sealing of a spoke rim
I've had several flats on my 1300s in the 2 years I've had the bike. In the 2 years I've had it I've put on close to 20,000 miles. I'm finally fed up with having to replace the tube every time I get a flat so I've decided to cross over finally!! But I've read the archives on sealing my spoked rim and haven't really read which way is best to seal the rim. I've seen it sealed the whole width of the chanel and I've seen it sealed only around the set of 3 spokes. I don't care about it taking longer to cure if I seal the whole rim I just want to know if one way is better than the other... Thanks for any help on this!!!

Re: Sealing of a spoke rim
Personally I would want to seal the whole channel. But both ways are getting good results.
Good luck

Re: Sealing of a spoke rim
If you use the GM3000, be sure to plan on not riding for a week. It needs to set up properly, but it turns into actual rubber when cured - very permanent.
Be sure to true the wheel before sealing; you won't be able to get to the spoke nuts afterward.
