howdy campers
I am jonesin to become a darsider.. I ride a Vstrom 1000 and live in the mounrtains in idaho.. sooo i will be ridinng in the twisties quite a bit.. i was hoping to get some educated advice on either which tires may work best or which tires to maybe stay away from.. i realize this can be subjective but i will listen to whatever you have to say.. I guess my other question would be does more $$ mean better handling?? thanks a lot..

Re: howdy campers
Whatever tire you go with look at what the tire is " RATED " . Lower the number softer the compound . I run a Cooper Zeon 2XS ( rated 280 ) and Fuzion ZRi ( rated 320 ) on my bikes both tires are directional and stick like glue in the twisties. The lower the rated number the better it will hang under you the trade-off it wears out much faster.
