I have to blame is mostly on coming to the darkside, the General Altimax Arctic gave me the ability to ride in extreme corrosive conditions. New wiring harnes at minimum, and most likely need a bunch of sensors and ECU, cost estimate ranges from $2k-$4k with no guarantees if will survive

I'm weighing my options, I now have 3 bikes that are in "project bike" status, an '82 Yamaha XV920R, need just a starter relay, maybe a starter too, very reliable bike with the exception of starters, seems as though they need to be replaced about every oil change. prolly the cheapest to get going but not really the 2 wheel transportation I want as a daily rider

or fix my lil nekid red '99 SV650, needs a motor or rebuild, rear shock and springs & emulators in the fork, this might be easier and less expensive than the V-strom, also more versitle bike, I have extra wheels, sprockets, chain gearing for off road

and my other (least likely in current finances)option is a new bike, I've already been offered a '12 V-strom 1k @ dealer cost
