Darkside on a sportbike

I'm working up a tadpole 2F1R three wheeler. I ideally want to use something in the 500-600cc range. I'd go 750cc if the price of the donor bike is good enough. I'm pretty well decided on using a sportbike because they're shorter and more compact. The biggest reason is because it so easy to find a low priced one that's had the front end squished by some squid stunting. Since I don't need the fork and I don't really care about the plastics. Just going to spray it black anyway.

Now what you all are doing, tossing the MC for a CT, makes sense. I'd like as much traction as i can get and a hemispherical sport bike tire profile isn't going to give that.

Does anyone know if anyone's tried what you're doing on a sport bike?

Well there not a "true" sport bike, but they have gone to the darkside with the ST1100, ST1300 and the FJR 1300.

i have run car tires on zx-12 and zx-14 wheels .... they are 6x17 and a 205/50/17 worked out really good.
