Check out MTC. Still on my original, but others say that's the best.
Might want to ask on VTXOA.com

Barnett makes a HD spring 501-53-06114 for the VTX 1800
I just put a shim(0.045) behind my stock springs and I have a clutch that does not slip at all.
I was short on money 3 years ago so that is what I did to make my stock clutch better and it doesn't slip even after I have put over 15k miles on my 1100 since I put the shims in.

The stock springs are very weak, the 0.045 shim(washer) worked great on my bike and I know others that have done this and all but one are still on the original springs(with the shim). I just laid my bike over on the crash bar, took the side cover off and did one spring at a time.

One more thing.
The stock bolts are crap(that hold the springs to the clutch basket). Well, they are made to break instead of stripping out the clutch basket but sometimes they break taking them out(pain in the ass). That is why I threw the stock bolts away and bought new bolts, just be sure to use a Torque Wrench(110 in. lbs. for my 1100).

I went to ACE hardware and bought 5 bolts for .87 cents. Wink
Much stronger than the POS stock bolts.
