Awesome time.

Post  DarkFury on Mon Jan 30, 2012 12:38 pm

I just wanted to share the great time I have had giving my son a motorcycle for his 16th birthday. I have been blessed with really good children and doing extra things for them means a lot to me. My son loves motorbikes and has told me he wanted one. I found a 1972 BMW R75/5 that was complete and just needs to be cleaned up and tuned up. My son had no clue what he was getting for his birthday. Very Happy

Here a few pics.

The day I looked at it and decided that it was well worth the $600 asking price. thumbup

I stored it at my buddy EJ's house and we gave it a good washing.

Here I am picking it up Saturday morning for the big surprise. My competent helper. Razz

Hidden in the backyard.

Here is the proud new owner. Momma wanted to try it out as well.

I am looking forward to the time we will spend in the garage getting it in the shape that he wants it. Might even darkside it one day. yes

Thanks guys. I am looking forward to finally meeting up with you Eskimo. My son is lucky, the airhead comes with both electric and kick start.
