I have been pondering going to a CT for the last few weeks. With some hard research, I have finally decided to go with a Bridgestone 175/60/16. I was wondering if anyone had any input concerning this size tire. My speedo should not be affected since the cable runs off the front tire. By the way, I own a 2001 Nomad. My main concern is the clearance.

Congrats on your choice to go darkside. Not familiar with the Nomad and what tire it takes, but someone will be along soon to help you out.

I have finally went to the darkside. I've installed a Bridgestone (Tursuma EL400) 175/60/16 on my 2001 Kaw Nomad. I have only been able to put about 100 miles on her so far, but I think that I am going to like this CT. I noticed very little difference in the handling but have noticed that the ride is smoother. Will post more as I get some more miles put on her. Thanks everybody for posting the neccessary info to help me make a dicision regarding going to the darkside.

hay bud let me now how that ct handles I also have a 01 nomad and I'am going darkside this spring when I change the rear tire, I was thinking of a 205 but if you have the clearance and it rides good then I might use that size. Shrug
