Re: Twin1300 had a heart attack
Glad you're recovering well. These do take time. By spring you should have those tires air'd up and ready to ride. Take a slow ride. Will keep you in prayer for complete recovery. "The joy of the Lord is our strength."

Re: Twin1300 had a heart attack
I have a pacer that runs the atrial side of my ticker. They have me take ONE aspirin every night to keep the blood thinned a bit, so I don't get clots.
Exercise (bodybuilding, then powerlifting) took my ticker from a 30% ejection factor to a 60+% factor. A normal yuman is around 55%.
I'd recommend finding something that you either don't mind doing or like to do that gets your heart rate and respiration up a minimum of 3x/wk for a minimum of 30-40 minutes - and that's the very lowest amount for cardiovascular health.
Fruit and veggies are your friends.
Actually, this advice is pretty much for everyone of you guys! You don't have to go nutz like me and press in the 300's and pull in the 400's. Just get into something that you like enough to stay with it. Many don't like gyms. Others don't like weights, or machines, or cardio, but will happily powerwalk, jog, swim, bike or things like that.
EVERY SINGLE ONE of the centenarians National Geographic did a study on were all still very active, working or playing. Some did the apple cider vinegar daily, others even drank a little. But all were very much living instead of just existing.
