I just got a GL 1500 1989 and need rear tire and want to go to the darkside. Car tire on rear, if you have done this let's talk. Thinking about a 175/60/16 Dunlop.

I went DDS in April this year . The tyre I installed is the Austone 175-75/16 Then went to Alaska traveled 8700 miles on every type of road under the sun in all kinds of wheather . The tyre performed flawlessly . I 'm older than dirt and have been riding for over 50 years don't know why I didn't do it sooner.

Welcome to this site and Congrats
Take it a bit slow the first hundreds to get rid of the mold which most
manufactures put on their tires.
After that, enjoy the long and much safer rides.
