GOING DARKSIDE AFTER MUCH THOUGHT AND READING
I have decided going to the "Darkside" after much reading and thought. Information is very informative. Like the end results everyone post afterwards. I have an VTX 1800T. Have chosen to replace my MT with the GTTY 205/60/16. I had to order the tire and have found a motorcycle shop that will do the change over. Any info I should know about switching tire over. Anything I should tell the shop. I am going to start my PSI at 40. Do my 500 miles then adjust for the "Sweet Spot" from there. Is that right? You guys are great the info is fantastic. You guys are right on. Can definitely make a formaive decision with all the feedback and research out there. Thanks will definitely update my riding with the site.

Re: GOING DARKSIDE AFTER MUCH THOUGHT AND READING
No help from me to pass on to the guy from the tire shop.
40 psi sound good to start with. I don't think you need to wait 500 miles to
play with the pressure.
However, take some hundreds to get rid of the mold on the tire, before really
cracking it. A burnout might help.
Enjoy and keep us posted. By the way, we love pic's.

You will love it and wont go back, Don't worry about the free cookies! Welcome
GOT "ER DONE!!!!!
Just got back from getting my GYTT installed on my 2007 1800T VTX. Had to travel 48 miles to have it done and rode the bike back. Loved it!!!! Have my shocks set at 4. 40 PSI on tire. Traveled interstatee on the way home. Rode absoluteluy wonderful, had to push the handlebars a little more on the curves but that was something that was mentioned on treads I read. Traveled at about 80 miles per hour, and felt bike be a little bouncy on ruts in the roads nothing bad though. Love the look of tire and love the feel of the bike. Seems to hug the road better. Thank you guys and the site for the information and for the effort you guys put forth in pulling all this information together. COOKIES PLEASE!!!
