hi guys looking for some help,am building a bike, rear tyre size is 300/35/18 i have looked up rim size for tyre and have bought a porcshe wheel 18x 10j but have inflated it to around 100psi but it will not bead,do i need to modify the wheel or will i have to get air into tyre quicker for it to bead,or am i just wasting my time although i have been reading about the darkside so if its possible one way surely it should work in reverse?

Lots of lube on a shiny clean wheel, and maybe set it out in the sun... otherwise
I don't have a clue... But a 300mm tire on a 10 inch rim is gonna look phat!!! yes

If you are putting a motorcycle tire on a car rim you sure do not understand what the darkside is all about.

We are putting car tires on motorcycle rims and riding the hell out of them. Why put a motorcycle tire on a car rim. Sounds like a big waste of time and money.

See you out there

We don't know what the OP is building, but he just asked for advice
on mounting a 300mm tire on an 18x10 inch Porsche wheel.
He didn't say he wanted to go to the darkside and I'm not going to say he should. JMHO 2cents

just thought i would let you guys know what i found out from a tyre manufacturer,a motorcycle wheel is about a 16th of an inch smaller in diameter than a car wheel, which over the circumference is aroun 3 16ths of an inch hence the reason i could not fit a bike tyre on a car wheel, thanks again for your help, matt thumbup

A ratchet strap around the tire may help.
