What sizes to consider and why?
Seriously considering going darkside(7500) on stock Dunnies, and want to know from you experienced guys, what sizes to consider and why? I have a 09 VTX R. Thank you in advance for the assistance!

Re: What sizes to consider and why?
On the 1300....205/65 series or 70 series. I have only ridden the 205/65 so I can't compare it to the 70 series, but thinking since I can't wear this thing out...I might just change to see what's really the difference. I currently run the Douglas Rain and Snow tire and I was the first to go with the 205 tire and this was before everyone got on the band wagon and now we have tons of options. The 65 series is about the same size as the stock MT.
Good luck sir and Welcome to our site.

I ran a 205/70/15 on my 1300C with no problems in fitting them, first a General Grabber, then a Michelin HydroEdge. Both great tires.
With the R model just turn your rear muffler bolt around 180 degrees and they will fit with no problem.
