Looking at the available CT's out there, I find only two that look to fit the bill - size 175/60 R16...

The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D Run on Flat - $134 at TireRack.com
The Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02 - $111 at TireRack.com

I've also seen recommended but have been unable to locate a source for a Federal Forenza in the same size.

I've been told by a couple of people this size will fit my rim (cast alloy) and have sufficient clearance in the wheelwell, but would feel much better hearing from someone who's actually installed one before placing an online order.

Any experience, suggestions, comments are welcome!

Thanks!
David

Thanks! It rides humans as well. Last week in N. GA (nervously, cautiously going home on a bald rear tire):

Just measured:

-Left side (brake caliper side) - about 1.5" at the closest point to swingarm
-Right side (drive belt side) - 5/8"-3/4" at closest point to swingarm (this is the one that concerns me, as I'm not sure how much wider the car tire sidewall will be, if any, than the MC tire)

Rims are 3" wide (from bike's tech specs)
