Well I picked up my c/t today! Falken Ziex ZE-512, 205/65/15. Discount tire $65.00, asked them to mount it and the guy said "No Effen Way!" so I gotta wait till morning and take it to the local bike shop. Can't wait for my test ride!!

Not so fast, bike shop busted the steel bead on the first tire! Discount tire said it ain't their fault so they wouldn't replace it! So I burned another $ 70, man, I'm about to give up on this whole idea.

Busting the bead occurs when the opposite side of the bead is not held down to center of rim and to much pressure is applied.I would strongly suggest finding another installer.

It's done!! Went on the test ride( bout 70 mi.) feels different but good!! It's exactly what I wanted!! The guys at SHOVEL'S in Kerrville took great care of me!! They had cojones'! They wouldn't quit till it was done! All props go out to Joe & George Gardea( owners ), check them out!!great guys to deal with, work on all types of bikes and ain't scared of a challenge!!! Think I'm gonna love the "Darkside"!
