Car tire
About 300 miles ago I put on a 205/55/16 Michelin hydroedge on my VTX 1800T. I like the car tire for the most part, rides smooth, looks cool, corners great. There is just 1 thing I dont like, when there is uneven road surfaces you have to be on your toes. I layed mine on the crash bar twice now coming in my driveway at an angle. Now I know to hit it straight on, or close to straight on. My driveway has a curb at a 45 decree angle and the flat part of the tire wants to run on the angle causing the bike to all of the sudden lean with that same angle, front will go up fine but when the rear hits it at a slow speed, WATCH OUT!!! BTW, you have to hit it slow, its a big bump if you dont. It makes it tricky going through construction zones with uneven pavement, especially when its dark and the roads are wet. JUST A HEADS UP for all you Darksiders!!!

Re: Car tire
Wow...must be the short side wall (55 series) cause my 65 series doesn't do that. Thanks for the heads up.

tire
Now, I am hitting the driveway almost in-line (perpendicular) when this happens, but none the less, uneven road surfaces in construction zones can be quite uneven and could cause the same result. I may try a 60 or a 65 series next time to see if that makes a differance.

Yes, I have a 65 series and I also don't have that issue.

Re: Car tire
I have a 45 series, I know what you are talking about, but have not experienced it that severely even over similar curbs!
