New Darksider
Well Just got my new car tire on. Rode for 60 miles. It rode great through the twisties and my bike did't blow up. One question though My BFG Advantage T/A says 44lbs max preasure but I've heard guys going over. Has any one thats gone over in tire preasure had any ill affects? and why did you go over in preasure?
Thanks

E,
The only reason any one adjust the pressure is to try to match their riding style. But most everyone goes below the manufacture suggested pressure sooner or later. I run around 31 psi. Just ride it for a while until you get used to the feel then adjust it and see if it's better or worse, then go the other way! JMO

Running 34 psi in my GYTT 205/65-15 on my 1800S. I started at 37 but thanks to the advice of the great people here I lowered it to 34 and got the ride I liked. I swear it sticks in the twisties better than my ME880 did and it rides great! Congrats and just play with the pressure till you find what feels good to you.

I haven't heard of any running MORE pressure per se. Too much pressure and your tire is affected by every line, groove, angle, and hole in the road. Too little pressure and it wallows in the sweepers - very disconcerting either way. Also, with too much pressure, the sidewall can't fold a bit and keep half the tread down on the deck where you need it.
