13" shocks on 1800 C ?

Post  Clay-san on Sat Mar 19, 2011 4:13 pm

I know one guy with 13" Progressive shocks on a C model and now I am considering it for more lean angle, maybe with a narrower tire since it's almost time for the next one. Does anybody run those or have a any interesting thoughts about it?

sure you can, the stock ones are what, 12.25 or 12.5"? not too much of a difference there... if you are concerned you can recalculate the rake and trail, but I don't think you are gonna hurt anything.

I'll probably do it since I went with the Goldwing front springs a couple years ago and the pot holes are terrible this year - I'll appreciate the lift bounce and travel. I figured if it were catastrophic somebody would let me know.
