2005 Royal Star Tour Deluxe
I just picked up this bike last night.... Still have a few miles left on the Avons but want to go darkside as soon as possible. Anyone have recommendations on a rear tire?? I am running the Michelin hydroedge 205/70R15 on my 2003 VTX1300 and was wondering if that size tire would work on the RSTD as well...
Thanks,
Robert C.

I have been riding a 06 tour deluxe 4 years. I mounted a 165/80R15 Federal SS657 today. Just got done with my first ride in 40mph head wind. Car tire more stable, less road noise. Cornering no problem at any speed. Laid it into some consecutive S curves at 80mph with no extra effort.

That was my very first tire size and I love it! Congrats on the info and your darkside. Post some pics when you get a chance.
