Well lets see, while searching for a 3rd replacement tire for the Hog, Trying to find something cheaper than the Dealer, I came across this site, and did extensive reading and research, and decided to go Dark. I purchased a Vredestein Comtrac 175/75/R16c Load Range D Tire from Tires By Web and a New Tube from Baltimore Harley. Now having a tire machine made easy work of dismounting and mounting the tire, but at 70psi still didn't seat the bead. My Backside was sucking wind as we reached 100psi and the bead finally seated, and I quickly released the air to drop it to 40psi. It looked real good on the Bike, and a short road test around the shop taking slow turns and hard leans felt more stable and sure footed than the bike tire. The real test was going home from work. It felt good, more sure footed than the bike tire, and Yes More road grip. The final test was thew trek into the shop this morning in the snow and ice we got dumped with last night. I have ridden all year in all weather fro 5 years now, and I always was slightly unstable on ice and snow, but this new Car Tire felt real good and sure footed. I am sold, I will never go back, I am forever on the Dark Side, and considering from what I read, going double dark. Thanks for all the Info, and glad to be on the Dark Side
