FRONT DARKSIDE QUESTION Empty greater milage with rear MT on front

Post  jcperform Mon Jun 21, 2010 9:35 am

I get about 20,000 miles out of a front mounted oversize rear MT on my C I usually mount them reverse
rotation for about 10000 miles then remount in standard rotation to even out the normal cupping wear. I
have noticed no hydroplanning either way,...OTOH I never exceed 80 mph in the rain,.....

Welcome to the site. Good info thanks. Also there are now manufacturers out there that are making dual fitment tires so it doesn't matter if you mount them on the front or rear.
