Ok, I'm new to the Darkside but after $500+ for new Dunlop E3 tires just last year on my 2003 1800R and after 7000 miles needing a new rear already, I'm ready to try a CT. Seems like the 205/65-16 is the size to buy but I really don't want to have any difficulty in mounting or rubbing after it is mounted. Any additional info I need? I think the airsoft beads get the nod as well. I'm hoping my local tire guy can install the tire cuz the bike shop is 60 miles away and wants $75.00 to install a tire they didn't sell. I don't know if they will do a car tire anyway. I'm Mr Cautious on new ideas but Mr Titewad is speaking loudly at this point. My dad thinks I'm nuts for even thinking about it but didn't have a response when I mentioned his old Harley had these flat profile tires too.

I too am a newbie. Went with the Potenza G109 205/60/16. Go for it, it is a different ride, but you will like it once you ride it for a few hundred miles.

Lots of places are installing them now. Just be sure and tell them to clean the rim good before mounting the new tire or ask them if you can.

GO FOR IT....I'l bet you $300 to a doughnut [I like chocolate] that you'll love it and never go back. After 9- 200 Metzlers that only 1 lasted 3000 mi, I'll never buy another MC tire for the rear, period.

You have to do it from whereever you are hosting it, if hosting it here you will need to do it in your pic program and resubmit it.

See you out there
