I've got a '00 1100 shadow areo, tire size is 170/80-15. what is the widest car tire size I can fit on this bike, does anyone have a areo with pics?

I have a 2002 Aero with a 205/65-15. I have ran a 165/15 but did not like the looks and it was a hair small then stock. I went to the 205 and love it. I found a Sabre rim and am running a Nexen tire on it. I don't know if anyone has had much success putting the CT on a spoke rim witha tube. I have seen a few try it but not seen it work for them.

Lots of us have spokes with a tube, I'm going on 7000 miles with mine.

ok i new to this thing someone please help me i ride a 2003 honda shadow spirit and i am going to put a car tire on the rear i ordered a 165/80/15 will this work or should i get something different

I would go with the 205 65 15. I started with the 165 but after a few thousand miles (14,000) I wanted the look of the 205 it looks great behind the Areo.
I found using wheel bearing grease works best to seat the tire on the rim.
