I'd check the O.D. spec on that tire if you're concerned about ground clearance up front. The stock size is a very tall tire, the Metz in your sig pic is 26.73" if it's a 150/80R17 ME880.vtxreaper wrote:What do you think about this size on my 1800r. 160/60/17????

Re: Mc rear on front
Hey Dan, the tire brand is Shinko,i think the model # is 006 or 712, i found it on e-bay. I think it is $85.00 plus $15 shipping. I burn through two front tires every season. Getting a bit expensive those Me880's. Yes the tire on the front of my bike is 150/80r/17. This new tire would be a bit shorter??, and a bit wider??
I need the wear of a rear up front and the price is right. Hey, if I don't like the tire i can always get a different one. Not much of an investment $85..
It is at a place called pinwheelcycles.com i think, but it is listed in their store on e-bay..
The tread pattern looks pretty good to put up front.
If I get it the big decision is to mount regular or reverse????
Bobby, thanks for putting up the picture!!!!

Re: Mc rear on front
Getting closer to pulling the trigger on this tire at the top of the thread!! 160/60/17, for the front of my 1800r.
Any objections?? Just double checking! The size should work...
I know I will probably crash and burn in hell, but that is alright, as long as it is after the Knoxville trip which I should be able to make....
