Does anyone know anything about this tire got it for $118.00 out the door. Couldn't pass up the price it's for my VTX1800F

that might be the one other tire that will fit, but if it is, it's usually almost 3X that much... can you find out the actual physical width of the tire?

found the thread by swsvending with the info

To choose this tire I looked at the widest tire that I have seen on a C. The section width on that tire is 8.3 inches and the section width on the Toyo Proxes T 1R is 8.1. Michelin makes a tire with a 8.3 section width but the price was over $300.

so if your section width is physically under 8.3 it should work... this will need to be measured, not off the tire specs (215)

Be aware, the actual section width is decided by the rim width used. That's why tire specs show a measuring rim width.
The general rule is .2" section width change for every .5" of measuring rim.
So if the s.w. is 8.3" on a 6.5" rim, the same tire will have a 7.9" s.w. mounted on a 5.5" rim.
