Hello to everyone. Badrice from the central valley of California here.

I have a 1300 Retro, well originally I did :pirat: . I am currently running an Xchoppers 200/210 rear fender and an 1800C rear wheel. I dont have the bracing issues (the Xchoppers fender doesnt require any). My questions is how wide of a tire can i run on the 5.5 in rim? If necessary I will change my retro mufler bracket over to a "C" bracket.

Badrice,

Welcome and Glad to have you. Very interesting the fender and rim combination. Got any pics?

Any way, because of the swing arm width limitations, the 205 is the largest we have gone so far. I think a 225 on a stock rim is possible. Don't quote me, It's just a dream right now that I think I can do or some one else with the desire.

Any....make yourself at home.

Thnaks for the information. Sounds like a wider swingarm, fender and muffler bracket then may be the cheap way to go to the wide tire. I think a 220 just for some safety's sake.

whatever tire you run, it can't be more than 8.3" wide or it's hit the swingarm... Wink
