6k miles

Post  spud1800r on Sat May 23, 2009 8:56 pm

Well i turned 6k on the car tire in NY today, still lovin it! The wife rode with me last nite, 1st time on the C/T, she claims it's a better ride, smoother...huh go figure... Very Happy
I did drop the pressure from 40 to 38, and it is a better ride, but I still get that scraping noise in the corners... cheers

Hey B, I have a Hankook K105, 205 55 16. It was 80 bucks mounted, and I can't say anything bad about it! Sticks to corners wet or dry, very smooth on the slabs up to 110 (my limit not the tire's)
way better on dirt roads and scarified highway.

I hear the same thing...scraping noises! But dang, it rides so smooth! My wife feels the same way about the car tire!

Sorry for the double image... not sure why I couldn't do only one. Anyhoo, Spud's CT with sparks flying through the dragon last Sept. 08
He probably won't tell you but it made the front page of Killboy that week. It's amazing to be behind watching!
