New Front Tire

Post  slikdj on Mon May 18, 2009 3:12 pm

Time for a new front tire. Original Dunlop still on. (150-80-17 tube type due to spoke wheels)
What do you folks feel is the best or worst tire for my machine. If I wanted to go a little bigger on the tire size, what's the biggest that would fit without doing any complicated mods?

Remember now, we are talking front tire.

Thx

I use Metz ME 880....... The 150 is the biggest front tire I've seen. You could always go with a rear tire and mount it against the rotation arrow.

Not while stoped......
You mount it backwards so the belts dont pull apart during hard breaking.

Jerry

Not trying to hijack but why mount a rear against the rotation arrow?

Disregard, I read further and found the answer. I jumped the gun.
