RESONATORS FOR VTX WITH HG Big Straights 3'
I ride a 03 1800 VTX with HG Big straights and the stock straight through baffel. These suckers are loud.
The wife said she could not hear my new stereo. Heck! I figured 200 watts oughta be loud enough to get over the sound of the pipes. Guess Not!
If your HG's are just a little to loud you gotta check out the following site. http://www.vtxresonator.com/
You will be glad you did. These new baffels give that big monster of mine that low rumble that I like. NO it won't sound like a Harley. I was not looking for that. They simply give it a nice low rumble without the sharp cracking sound on acceleration or deceleration.
They are very well made and simple to install. With no problems removing old baffels it took me 10 minutes.

Re: RESONATORS FOR VTX WITH HG Big Straights 3'
I was going to say to look up michael7276 on the vtxoa site http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=15087 because he's been producing a baffle for the 3" HK for sometime now. But I now see that he must be running this site: http://vtxresonator.com/ because he has a link to it on his profile page.
I've had his resonators for a couple of years. i'm finally content with the sound of my bike after running the baffles that came w/the 3" big straights (they sucked) and then after running straight pipes for a couple of years. When I got the baffles they were very reasonable in price, not sure what they are now but I highly recommend them.
