2005 NEO-RETRO CT mods only please. no fender mods just tire
I own a 05 Neo, you may have seen me at VTXcafe.com, and I am looking to replace my tires (front and back). I have been considering the darkside for some time and am leaning closer and closer yet. lol. I have been looking at this forum and NOONE (unless i still have not found it yet and thats possible) has a straight listing for tires for the 1800 let alone the 1300. I would greatly appreciate a listing of bike model then the tire used and the results since going "Darkside", please list that here in this order if possible for the laymen(idiots) that are a tad uninformed, so that we can make a better decision. ROFL. No mods to stock please, other then the relocation of say the turn signals or such other then that. please understand I am looking for the term of K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid for the stupid. ROFLMAO.
This is for the owners of the CLASSIEST of the VTX................THE NEO! lol. kidding I would rather hear for all but my decision will be for the NEO.

the clearances are basically the same for all the models...
you can run a
205/55/16- smaller than stock tire diameter
205/60/16- slightly smaller than stock diameter
205/65/16- slightly larger than stock diameter (may not work with some shorter shocks with loads)
popular tires are the Goodyear Triple Tread, Bridgestone Potenza and Michilen hydroedge seem to be among the most popular. From the info I have seen, stay away from Falken, the sidewalls are flimsier than most tires...
Hope that helps.
