has anyone tried this tire it is listed under the extreme performance summer on the tirerack.com. they said that they really liked the wet traction so and it came in first in their test so i may go with this if i get my books sold quick

Looks like a good tire, the only 16" available is a low profile 205/55 with an O.D. of 24.9". It will fit fine without any mods, but your speedo will be reading higher than actual, maybe as much as 10%. Your call, Good luck!

I am riding a 1300 with the foots mod with a 205-55-16 and my speedo is off by 13%. just so ya know

Uh ya, a few things, check it out, https://mcdarksiders.forumotion.com/vtx-1800-tech-f10/general-altimax-hp-215-65r16-install-ride-wildside-t1089.htm Nothing really hard, just time, I think it was worth it. You'll need more than a Dremel, unless you have a lot of grinding stone bits, and plenty of time! There's plenty of 205/65's available that will make your speedo more accurate than the stock tire, without any mods. study If you really wanna go "Wildside", I'd be glad to help! :pirat:
