1400 Intruder

Post  the Ricker on Sat Apr 11, 2009 9:25 pm

I am running a Barum Bravuris 205/65 r15 on my stock swing arm. It is a close fit, but it does fit.
My rear shocks are lowered about 2 coils and I still have clearance. The inside rim bead on the rim MUST be ground down smooth for this tire to seat.
I love the looks and the ride!

Mine is a 1999 1400 Intruder. I have done quite a few modifications to it.

The tire Ricker is talking about is available through DicountTire.com

You can get more info by clicking here.

So far it has been fitted on the VS1400 (at least three riders) and an M50. The clearance is tight, but it works without any mods on the M50 and possibly none on the VS1400 (I had to make a small clearance increase for height, others have needed nothing).

BTW: The price is only $56 and it rides SMOOOOOOOOOTH! Grips in the corners better than my ME880 did! I know it is hard to believe, but it is true!
