Last November the Vietnam Traveling Wall got off I-12 at Denham Springs, La. headed to Zoar Baptist Church parking lot to be set up. It was escorted by about 300 motorcycles. What a sight. I had a bum knee at the time and couldn't ride in the parade. What a bummer. Stopped to visit the wall with a grandson on our way back from the Marine Reserve Center in Baton Rouge after celebrating an early Marine Corps birthday. It was the first birthday celebration I had been to in an awful long time.
