What size CT for a Mean streak 1600

My buddy seen my bike with the CT and now he wants one

He's runnin a stock 170 60R17

Has anyone done or seen what could go on a mean streak? He wants to go as fat and low as possible with out any major mods.

I don't think she'll take a 225 Moon. From the stock 170 I would say max should be a 200....

What are you guys running for a 200 ?? 17...it could be a 45 to 55 profile....50

This is a pretty popular tire of the F. I am not the first to run this tire and I am sure I am not the last. It has only been on the bike a little over a month and I have not been able to say too much about it. If everything goes well I will be able to put some miles on it this week.

Hey there, I just put a tire on this spring. I'm running a Yokohama s-drive 205-50-17 on my 06 meanstreak. When I installed it, it rubbed the left side of the swingarm. I cut a little iron out of it and gave the driveshaft coupler on the end just enough room to pass through.(1 3/4 inch) I then welded it up, cleaned the iron up and painted it. Had to place the final drive on the wheel and bolt it back onto the swingarm to get everything back together. I've put about a thousand miles on it now, and have no complaints about it while on the highways. At slower speeds it wants to follow any imperfection in the road. I will not go back to riding mt again. Hope this helps you out.
