Introduction

Post  spock on Wed Mar 04, 2009 1:02 pm

I'm in the Houston area. I have a 2000 Vulcan Nomad 1500FI. The rear wheel is 3.5"W. I bought a Nomad 1600 swing arm and wheel to instal a CT. The 1600 wheel is 4.5"W. I am looking at tires now. I think I will go with a Goodyear, Assurance Tripple Tread, 205 60R 16, or a Dunlop, SP 5000, Symetrical, 195 60R 16. Any good advice appreciated. I was really interested in Toyo Vanco 6 185 75R 16, but don
t know if the patern and side wall is right for Motor cycle. I need to find a shop that will mount the tire to wheel. Hope to converse with y'all in this forum.

If this is your first CT, go with the triple tread. It's tried and true.

Where is Willis?
