considering crossing over...
Here is my ride

" alt="" />
A 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500 FI, customized ( including the 1600 Nomad Stock Bagger pipes
My concerns about going to the darkside is Spoked rims, and clearance.
What would be the best tire for this Bike ?
I really getting tired of spending 300.00plus dollars per tire here in Edmonton Alberta. for a season of riding.
Im usually riding 2 up, sometimes with a trailer behind as well.
Last fall I rode all the way to Sturgis ( for tires...
....was awsome....but I cant do that every year for new tires.
Some of my riding buddies are already crossed over with there Gold wings ...no surprise there !
And this website looks awsome, and thanks for any help that anyone can provide

Re: considering crossing over...
What is the stock size tire and how wide is your wheel? That'll help us a ton in recmomending a starting place.

Nokian WR 195/55-r16
Ok so after a little research I am looking at maybe the Nokian WR 195/55-R16 tire
Will this tire fit a 2000 Vulcan Classic 1500 FI with spoked rims ?
and any suggestions on sealing a spoked rim ?
The Nokiam XR specs are :
Rated 87H
overall Dia. : 24.4"
Overall width : 7.9"
