Smokey screwing up

Post  Cassie on Sat Sep 26, 2009 5:43 pm

Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right, and the other is usually a husband.

When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, I kept hinting to Smokey that he should get it fixed. But, somehow he always had something else to take care of first: the truck, the motorcycle, email, fishing, always something more important to him.

Finally I thought of a clever way to make my point. When he arrived home one day, he found me seated in the tall grass, busily snipping away with a tiny pair of sewing scissors.

He watched silently for a short time and then went into the house. He was gone only a few minutes.
He came back out and handed me a toothbrush. 'When you finish cutting the grass,' he said,
'you might as well sweep the driveway...'

The doctors say he will walk again, but he will always have a limp affraid affraid affraid

Just like a woman, the toothbrush was for the sidewalks. I gave her a trim paintbrush for the driveway. The legs will heal Razz Razz

See you out there
Smokey
