I put some MBL handlebar risers on this aternoon and went for about a 40 mile journey to try them on for size. I believe it was my 2nd best-spent monies ever 
. Of course, the Kuhmo was the 1st best-spent monies , but the MBL's are a close second!!!!!! My shoulders didn't show any signs of burning or pain what-so-eva. The instructions say they bring the grips up 3/4" but I measured more like 1 inch. They also bring the grips back to you about 1 1/2".
