I need some help from you Wing riders,,, (VTX 1800C here, w/205/65/16 HydroEdge)

Not enough infornmation provided to really know what happened.

Are any of you familiar with this event? Anybody have any more details?

Looks to me like one ran with no air long enough for the rim to completely cut through the side wall. (not every one belongs on a motorcycle) lol! lol! lol!

That's a low tire pressure failure! NOT the tires fault!

We've been kickin this one around on the VTXcafe, and I figured I'd ask over here about it,,,

The tire in the vid is a Dunlop 'run flat',,, We don't have 'run flat' options for the CT's we use on out VTX's, so very few folks know anything about 'em on the Cafe,,,

Beginning to wonder if the Wing rider even knew he was riding on a flat,,,, none of us know how a 'run-flat' feels when flat as we don't run 'em/don't have any experience with them.

I appreciate your help!

One thing they caution when running a Run Flat tire is that you only do so with a tire pressure monitoring system.

One guy said he gat a flat and rode it the 10 miles home and really couldn't tell any difference.
