Vote : Darkside Patch

Post  horseman8m on Sat Jun 20, 2009 11:05 pm

This patch will be 3" by 4" , if it is just round then 3.5",
prices go up fast the bigger we go.
Voting will end on midnight June 30th EST .
Some of the designs have more then one Picture to show that there is a choice of color or lettering.
The winning patch will not get any money for your design , but just that you know you helped to make our website more fun.

#1 the web site logo,

#2,,

round patch ,
#3 ,

this should be a square patch , just like this
#4 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,votes

this like #1 but in a patch form
#5 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

this like #2 but in a patch form, this one will have the Latin across the top like in patch #7 "the dark side is stronger"
#6,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

The Latin means "the dark side is stronger"

#7 ,,,,

#8,,,,,

#9,,,,,,,

this one shows the grip of the Darkside , border can be red , yellow or gold like in the pic
#10,,,,,,,,

At the top of this page there is a column of numbers with a box next to each number , left click in the box next to the number of the patch you want to vote for. now it is time to vote

My thanks to all that sent in there designs.

Come on yall. Vote, I promise that it will not turn out as bad as the last time the public voted. This is just a patch design not a presidency.

I gotta go with #2. Looks the goods.

Couple of the others look like they belong on a flight jacket not a bike jacket, but that's my humble opinion only.

Good work to whoever the designer was though.

Cheers

I voted for #7 due to the Latin. I like that. Also, I believe it was Moon who submitted that one, but don't know who did the design. I added the "Riding on the Darkside" and the red coloring. If #7 is chosen, I can also add the red glow around those letters and center them. The Latin appears to be a little off center to the right. Sorry, it's one of my weaknesses to see those things. :-) Either way (fixed or not) I want at least one. Thanks to everyone who did some great work. They really are all well worth considering.

I voted # 4 as it represents what we are. Why would we want a patch or logo with Latin on it? And a fist should be for an MC club that's going to bash in someone's face.

I liked the Latin, myself. I voted #7. Especially if they're of decent size. Have all you guys down south considered letting NightFire patches make them? The retroreflective stuff they have is awesome! You can find them at www.nightfirepatches.com .

thanks I look it up.
I've got several bids so far and am waiting on the winning patch to get the best price and look, it might not be cheaper but looks mean a lot to me.

I never thought about the fist in that way. I guess it could be taken that way especially if it was a large back patch. I'm not looking for any trouble over a patch. It might be something to consider.

Re: Vote : Darkside Patch

Post  horseman8m on Tue Jun 23, 2009 9:11 pm

This is the vote that counts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the other poll was to see if we had the interested , and I found out that other people had great ideas for a patch as well.
Not to push a patch on others so i had everyone submit designs that they wanted and then we are now voting on it.
This is the only time you will be voting and making it count , that is because Acorn is not involved in this vote.
The voting will END on the 30th of JUNE at midnight E.S.T.

That's true, Moo..., many of us guys over here are all Spanish gang guys. Or the SGG's, as we like to call ourselves. Some of us are just priests and we always talk in latin, too. Rolling Eyes

Well, I have to give that one to you.

I wasn't paying attention to the actual words being as it was the last of 10.

Thank goodness you were here to correct me. Wow, i might have gone off of the deep end and embarrassed myself of soemthing. cyclops What a Face

I do, however, think the claw on the tire is the best looking one.

I am not much or a star wars person, so the others aren't for me.

cheers and ride safe bro...
